A Bicycle rider is killed in a car accident with a black honday in Central Islip New York says a New York Injury Lawyer

A car crash occurred on December twenty-fifth, 2008. The mishap took place in Central Islip, New York.

On the Christmas day night, Hector Rapalo, 39, was traveling northbound on his bicycle along Route 11. As he was moving towards the intersection with Chestnut Street, an automobile hit him from behind. After the car crash, the driver of the vehicle fled from the scene without stopping.

After being hit by the unknown vehicle, the bicyclist was taken to Southside Hospital, located in Bay Shore. There, Rapalo received intensive care for a serious head injury. Sadly, despite the best efforts of the medical staff and around the clock attention at the hospital, 48 hours after the tragic car accident, Rapalo died.

The front of the vehicle may have received damages from the accident. Police believe that the automobile is a little, black car with “low wheels”. The vehicle may have been a Honda.

If anyone has any information about the incident it should be reported. Even though the driver and the vehicle have not been identified New York has provided a system of insurance for those who have suffered an injury from either an uninsured driver or a hit and run driver. Any relative of the person killed should inquire the help of a New York Injury Lawyer. The hit-and-run driver was the cause of the death of Hector Rapalo. While no one can bring back Mr. Rapalo, possibly a good New York Injury Lawyer maybe able to help provide Hector's family with some financial relief.
