Fatal injury escaped after serious car accident in Freeport New York reports a New York Injury Lawyer

A car accident happened in January 2009. The accident was located in Nassau County, New York.

At around ten p.m. on the night of the car accident, New York Police Sergeant Greg Piquette, assigned to the one-hundredth precinct on Far Rockaway, Queens, was driving his vehicle on the Southern State Parkway. As he was driving his 2005 Chevrolet Suburban, another vehicle went out of control and hit the Suburban head-on. Piquette fractured both hips, his right leg and left ankle in the accident. Toledo-Avarado suffered from a collapsed lung and a complex fracture to the bottom of his lower right leg. He will be arraigned at the Medical Center. Toledo-Avarado was charged with driving while intoxicated as well vehicle attack and reckless endangerment.

The Tragic story of a car accident in Suffolk County New York as a police officer is hit as told by a NewYork Injury Lawyer

A car accident occurred on February twenty-third, 2009.
On Monday night, an officer was struck by a car as he directed traffic in Yaphank. The officer, who was not named, was assigned to patrol the traffic after a previous crash occurred involving a school bus. From about two miles south of the school bus accident, the victim was hit by a car. The accident happened close to Everett Drive and Main Street. It has been learned that the cop suffered a serious injury to his back but further details were not released.

The driver of the vehicle has not yet been named by police. After the incident occurred, the officer was relocated to Stony Brook University Medical Center. There he was treated for serious back damage.

The officer is not the only one to be hit in Suffolk within the last three days. While in his car, officer Glen Ciano was hit as well. On February twenty-second, a drunken driver smashed into his patrol car killing Ciano.

NY, NY the site of fatal tragic car accident that kills 2 children and another child suffers serious injury laments a New York Injury Lawyer

A car accident took place on Wednesday, January twenty-first, 2008. The accident was located in New York City specifically,Chinatown.

Chao Fu, 52, of Brooklyn was driving the China Chalet delivery truck when the van accidentally drove straight onto the sidewalk. Allegedly, Fu double-parked the van while getting out to make a delivery. Then, a surveillance video shows an empty van driving in reverse up the sidewalk. The vehicle was a 2000 Ford van. The vehicle drove past yellow lines and hit three preschoolers and their escorts on the sidewalk.

Two children were pronounce dead at the scene of the accident: Hayley Ng, 4, from Chinatown and Diego Martinez, 3, from Chelsea. When the kids were rushed to New York Downtown Hospital, doctors tried their best to save Diego but he died around twelve-thirty p.m. The third victim of the accident, Emma Oscow, 4, was left in terrible condition at Bellevue Hospital Center suffering from a serious injury. There, doctors also tried to help more children and a few adults suffering from minor injuries from the crash.

Fu has a clean driving record so police suggest that he mistook reverse for park. The accident is referred to as a “wake up call”. It shows how more should be done to help pedestrians walking in the city.
