A fire truck crashes into a car at an intersection in Jamaica, NY. reports a Queens County Personal Injury Lawyer
A fire truck from Engine 275 was on its way to a call when it was involved in an accident with another car. The car it collided with was being driven by 25 year old Angela Johnson, Howard Beach NY. Johnson is the daughter of Linda Johnson, the pastor of Great Commission Church, 108-42 Sutphin Blvd. Jamaica NY 11435. Reports indicate Johnson stopped at a stop sign then continued into the intersection. The fire truck had its sirens and lights on when it was coming down the street and tried to stop. Unfortunately, it crashed into the car. Firefighters pulled Johnson out of the car. She was rushed to Mary Immaculate Hospital; located at 15211 89th Ave # 1 Jamaica, NY 11432. Sadly, she suffered a fatal injury during the crash. Six Firefighters also sustained injury during the accident. They were all taken to Long Island Jewish Center; located at 27005 76th Avenue New Hyde Park, NY 11040. Two of the firefighters suffered serious injury. There was no evidence of drug possession and no charges were filed by authorities.
