A multi-car crash occurred between councilman Charles Barron and four other vehicles. The accident took place in Brooklyn, New York on the night of June eleventh, 2008.
As Barron, the representative of East New York was driving home was in front of a stop light, a taxicab was going the conflicting way and tried to make a turn from the lane. Another vehicle, known as an SUV, was driving in the fast lanes of the road and crashed into the cab. The SUV was then hit by another car that was also hit by a fourth vehicle. The last vehicle then staggered into the councilmen’s car. Barron was driving a black Toyota Camry. The accident took place on Linden Boulevard and Van Siclen Avenue; just a few blocks away from the home of Barron.
