A car accident came about on Wednesday, November nineteenth, 2008. The accident took place in Massapequa, New York.

The car crash was that Wednesday night around seven p.m.. Miriam Slabin, 85, a pedestrian, was crossing the street from west to east when she was hit by a vehicle. Slabin was said to have been unsure of her surroundings while crossing the road. The vehicle was a 2007 Buick. The driver of the vehicle was an eighty-one-year-old male whose name has not yet been released. He was issued with no traffice citations as of the time of this writing. The car accident occurred along Broadway close to Pittsburgh Avenue.

At the scene of the car accident, Slabin was assisted to Nassau University Medical Center located in East Meadow, Long Island . She suffered received as much help as she could but unfortunately died at about eight o’clock that evening. The driver that struck Ms Slabinkily, the male driver of the vehicle did not receive any injuries.
