Clemens renews defamation litigation as a New York Injury Lawyer looks on

Roger Clemens who was formally known as a Yankee pitcher always battled through the many difficult situations he faced on the field and is not ready to give up the suit against his former trainer, Brian McNamee. McNamee accused Clemens of using Steroids [also known as performance enhancing drugs]. The motion will be filed on the 5th Circuit of the United States Court of Appeals. Clemens accuses his former trainer of falsely claiming that he injected him with Steroids between 1998 and 2001, numerous times at his apartment in New York City. Most of the case was dismissed by United States District Court Judge Keith Ellison claming that he was coerced by the government to render information pertaining to Clemens’s drug use. The case was dismissed but Clemens may appeal. The defamation lawsuit will continue in New York. On the controversial side McNamee has filed a suit against Clemens alleging that he defamed him in attempt to ruin his reputation and inflicted emotional distress on his person. As of right now nothing has moved forward, and they are waiting the ruling from the appeals court.
