Tanker Explodes, Injures One According to a New York Injury Lawyer

by

A tanker truck flipped over and injured one woman who was apparently on the highway with her emergency flashers on. The woman was said to be heading to her parents when her automobile started to have mechanical trouble. She put her emergency lights on as cars continued to pass her on both sides. New York Injury Lawyers report that the victim recalls seeing the tanker approaching her from behind and notes that the victim said the tanker was moving fast.

New York Injury Lawyers say the tanker struck the victim’s car and she was covered with shards of glass when the tanker hit her car. The tanker truck turned over and then burst into flames in front of the victim’s car. Steve Bilkis and Associates can be reached for an initial, free, no-obligation consultation at 1-800-NY-NY-LAW.

New York Injury Lawyers report that the victim suffered only minor injuries and was pulled from her vehicle by a witness right before the tanker exploded. Fire officials arrived on the scene and the driver of the tanker truck was pronounced dead on the scene. The tanker truck burned for approximately three hours after the crash. New York Injury Lawyers state that the pavement around the truck had melted and the overhead sign had collapsed. There were no charges of drug possession in this incident.
