A Bronx fire department responded to a call of a collapsed stair case in an apartment building on East 187th Street in Bronx NY. When they arrived on the scene, they found the stairwell between the third and fourth floor had caved in. Unfortunately, it came down on top of a man. Police have not released the man’s name as of yet. They did disclose he suffered injury, but would not comment on the type of injury. He was taken to the hospital for medical evaluation. The building’s structure is being tested.
