NY Personal Injury Lawyer tells of a garbage truck losing control in New York City and causing a fatal accident

by

Auvryne Scarlett, a 52 year old Manhattan NY resident, was working on Valentine’s Day when he caused a car accident. Scarlett had epilepsy and had stopped taken his prescription medication two weeks prior to the accident. He suffered a seizure while driving the truck and lost control on West 35th Street near Sixth Avenue in Manhattan, NY. The truck struck 3 pedestrians on the street. Two suffered fatal injury and the third sustained serious injury. New York County Police claim Scarlett did not disclosure his epilepsy to his employer. He will be arraigned in Manhattan Criminql Court; located at 100 Centre Street, New York NY 10013. He is facing a felony murder charge.
